Few New Beauty Favorites

I am dusting off the blog cob webs and have updates coming. Until then, I wanted to share my current beauty favorites. I am now officially closer to 40 than 30 (my birthday post will come soon) and I'm always on the hunt for beauty products that will help my dry skin have a little glow. Here's what's currently helping me in that quest.

Starting at the top with my absolute must have item Kate Somerville Exfolikate. When the tube is empty, I'll cut it open and scrape out every last bit, it's that great. I use it with my Clarisonic and it's a very gentle exfoliator that's given a noticeable difference to my skin. I just ordered a full tube from Neiman Marcus since it's their semi annual Beauty Event.

Left to Right:

MyChelle Creamy Pumpkin Cleanser. I picked this up at Whole Foods and I use it on the days I'm not using Exfolikate. This line is also gluten free and very affordable. I paid around $10 for the cleanser. 

Acure Brightening Facial Scrub. This is a good dupe for Exfolikate. It's from Whole Foods and is a fraction of the price of Exfolikate. It's not exactly the same but close and has similar ingredients. 

Maybelline Flash Clean. LOVE this eye makeup remover. I ran out of my Kiehls Supremely  Gentle Remover and picked this up at the grocery store, with low expectations. It's creamy and very gentle to the eye area and dare I say it's better than Kiehls :)

Last, and most important, Elta MD UV Daily Broad Sepctrum SPF 40 with Zinc. I bought this from my dermatologist since he's a big advocate for zinc. This one isn't chalky like most zinc products and it's part of my daily skin ritual.
